About Founder

Alex is the CEO of Flow.bio, the startup behind Flow.bio. He holds a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh, and a PhD in Neuroscience & Machine Learning from Imperial College London. He started Flow.bio during his PhD, to build software in the biology space.

Alex has worked as a software developer for over 15 years, and has developed popular websites used by over 200,000 scientists a year.
